Plus a portion of each lei sold is donated to the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA and all our packaging is eco-friendly (recyclable and made entirely from recycled materials). 

Do you have a store?

We don't have a physical store but we do have an online one at leisforkokomo.etsy.com.

Where are you located?

We're working out of Daly City, CA this year (closer to SFO than Westlake). 

What are your hours of operation?

We're open Monday through Friday from 9am to 7pm. We're closed on weekends (often to do events) and all federal holidays. 

How much are your leis?

Our leis start at $25 and go up to $175. 

What kind of leis do you make?

We hand-make fresh flower leis, fresh flower hakus (crowns), candy leis, money leis, and realistic silk leis. 

I need a last minute lei! Can you help?

Probably! We understand how crazy things can get around graduation so we usually have several leis on hand that are ready to ship/available for same-day pickup. In fact, any leis with READY TO SHIP in the title can be shipped or picked up almost immediately. If you need a last minute lei, please shoot us an email or Etsy message. Local pickup is available but by appointment only. 

I'm in the Bay Area, can I pickup my order instead of having it shipped?

Yes! We offer local pickup so our clients in (or visiting) the Bay Area can save on shipping. We're working out of Daly City this year (closer to SFO than Westlake).

Just complete your purchase online and mention "local pickup" at checkout. After we receive your order, we'll refund all shipping fees, send pickup instructions, and work with you to schedule a 1-hour pickup window.

Why can't you guarantee lei flowers or colors?

We cannot guarantee the exact flower types and colors that will be used in your lei because we don't grow our own flowers.

Dealing with fresh cut flowers, things can happen that are beyond our control. For example: 

• All the white flowers have been purchased or reserved for a high-profile wedding and our small business can't get any for your lei. 

• The blush orchids we ordered for your lei arrived more white than blush (natural genetic variation).

• The yellow flowers we ordered for your lei didn't meet our high-quality standards--they were either too soft, wilted, brown, or moldy. Any lei we made with them would be terrible.

• An entire shipment of flowers was held by customs after the USDA discovered a hitchhiking bug in one of the boxes. We have to purchase replacement flowers and colors are limited. 

In spite of everything that could go wrong, we do our best to make sure you get the lei you want. We will use your answers to the following questions to make you the best lei possible:

1.) What colors you'd like to see in your lei?

2.) What colors you'd hate to see in your lei?

So while you may not get the exact lei you wanted (purple orchids and blue carnations) you'll still get something similar (blue orchids and white carnations with purple embellishments). In the very unlikely event that the only quality lei we can make will contain a color from your hate list, we will reach out to you to find out how you'd like to proceed.

How soon should I order my fresh flower lei?

As soon as possible! Since we don't grow our own flowers, the more time you give us to make your order, the greater the chance we can secure the types of flowers you want in your desired color scheme. To sweeten the pot, we are currently offering a Fresh Flower Lei Early Bird Special. For a limited time, you can get $5 off each fresh flower lei ordered at least two weeks in advance. No coupon code needed. We'll automatically issue you a partial refund after your online order is received. But don't lollygag. Fresh flower leis ordered less than one week in advance are subject to a rush order fee of $25 each.
